275,000+ claims, five minutes each.
CASH files settlement claims with claims administrators on behalf of its clients. One settlement meant 275,000+ claims, and each took about five minutes to enter by hand. The plan was to hire dozens of temporary workers and have them type claims into the administrator's website for more than a year.
That would have been slow and expensive, and work that repetitive invites mistakes.
What we built
From spreadsheet to filed claim, unattended.
We built a system that read the claims straight from CASH's spreadsheets and submitted each one to the administrator's website with a headless browser, doing the same entry a person would, at scale. Every confirmation was saved and printed for CASH's records. Queue monitoring restarted any run that stalled, and the system paced itself so the administrator's site did not rate-limit it.
We worked with CASH's staff to tune the workflow for that volume. Two years later, when the administrator changed its website, we updated the system to match.
