Playbooks
What goes wrong, and what fixing it looks like.
Longer than a service page and more specific than an industry page. Each playbook takes one kind of organization, names the failures we keep finding in it, and says what the fix actually involves.

Which one are you?
You run an association or a nonprofit
The association website and member portal playbook
Your AMS holds the members, the portal authenticates them, and the community, learning and events platforms each hold a piece of what a member actually does. When those disagree, members re-register, staff re-key, and renewals fall through gaps nobody can see from the front end.
- AMS migration and integration health
- Member portal SSO
- Event and community platform sync
- What an operations audit examines for an association
You run a growing company with nobody whose job is IT
Running your company's websites and tools without an in-house IT team
Every tool was a reasonable decision on its own. Together they became a stack nobody owns, maintained in the gaps of someone's real job, and expensive in ways that never appear on a single invoice.
- Who owns the stack when nobody does
- Manual steps that became the process
- Deferred upgrades and the security posture
- Working out what the tools really cost
What a playbook is
Written from the problem, not the product.
Three kinds of page on this site answer three different questions, and it is worth being explicit about which is which.
A playbook
says what goes wrong in your world and what fixing it involves.
Each playbook ends somewhere real. Every section routes to a case study, an audit you can run yourself, or the service that does the work, because a page that only describes a problem is an article rather than a playbook.

Neither quite fits?
Run the free audit on your own site. It takes a few minutes, costs nothing, and tells you which of these problems you actually have.
A senior engineer reads it and replies within one business day.
